What is YourParts?
YourParts is an online 3D printing service from Germany with live pricing. You upload your 3D model, orient it on the build plate in your browser and choose material, colour and layer height — the price updates with every change. There is no need to ask for a quote by email.
Which file formats can I upload?
STL files, binary or ASCII — the standard format for 3D printing. Instead of a file you can also paste a link: straight to an .stl file, or to a model on platforms such as Printables, Thingiverse or MakerWorld.
Which materials and processes are available?
The range goes from materials for decorative parts with a fine surface to engineering plastics for functional parts that have to withstand heat, weather or load. In FDM we print PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU; in SLA, High Temp Resin. The material guide shows which one suits your part.
How is the price calculated?
The price is made up of the material by weight, the machine time and a share for the complexity of the geometry — measured by how much of the surface needs support and how thin and intricate the shape is. On top comes a setup fee (€1.50 for FDM, €3.00 for SLA), charged once per part in an order however many copies you order. Identical copies are discounted in steps, and heavier parts cost less per gram. ABS, ASA, TPU need the machine prepared first and carry a material preparation fee of €1.50. Multicolour and post-processing are added per part, and a minimum order value of €5.00 applies to the goods total. The full formula is on the How Pricing Works page.
How large can a printed part be?
That depends on the process: FDM parts fit a build volume of 215 × 215 × 215 mm, SLA parts 145 × 145 × 175 mm. The configurator checks your oriented part against these limits before you can order.
What tolerances and design limits apply?
In FDM the dimensional tolerance is about ±0.25 mm. Walls should be at least 1.2 mm thick, holes at least 1.5 mm across, and overhangs up to 45° from vertical print without support. In SLA the tolerance is about ±0.10 mm, with a minimum wall of 0.4 mm. Layer heights range from 0.03 mm to 0.28 mm. Every uploaded part is checked against these limits in your browser; findings that would stop a print block the order.
Can a single part be printed in more than one colour?
Yes, on most FDM filaments. You paint individual faces of the model in the configurator — up to 6 colours per part, for €1.20 per colour beyond the first. Every filament change the print needs is charged as well (about half a minute of machine time plus the purged filament), so a colour running through the whole height of a part costs far more than a logo on its top face. TPU is printed in one colour only, because the material does not change colour cleanly enough for a sharp edge; SLA resin has no multicolour process. The material picker offers the option only where it applies.
How long does production and delivery take?
Production usually takes 5–7 working days from receipt of payment, plus the carrier's transit time. You see the estimated delivery window at checkout.
What does shipping cost?
We currently ship within Germany, for a flat €4.95. Orders of €49.00 or more ship free.
Is VAT charged?
No. As a small business under §19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung) we charge no VAT and none is shown on the invoice. The prices shown are final prices.
Can I cancel an order?
Custom-made parts are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal under §312g(2)(1) BGB. We do, however, give you a voluntary right to cancel until production starts: until then you can cancel your order free of charge, and anything you have already paid is refunded in full.
